Thomas Doxiadis keynote at the Design Hub

RMIT Landscape Architecture is proud to support a keynote lecture by Thomas Doxiadis held at the Design Hub on Sunday. the 24th of March.

Thomas’ leads doxiadis+, an interdisciplinary practice with internationally recognised projects and publications that seek a deep respect for what already exists, be it nature or culture, and for all forms of life. Their significant works include Landscapes of Cohabitation, a 40-acre landscape restoration and development integration on the island of Antiparos; AmanZoe, a landscape design for a resort that recognises elements of the existing landscape; and the restoration of the historic gardens of the Gennadius Library of rare books in Athens.

Running as part of Melbourne Design Week, the lecture will question Utopias by redefining our human relationship to nature through gardens.
